A Masterwork from Noel Bourret

This beautiful French Empire mantel clock is from the late 1700s and by the master, Bourret a Paris, one of the all time greats in French clockmaking. It is of Bisque Porcelain and Gilt Bronze of a Chariot with a robed maiden and drawn by a gilded bronze swan. Enamel Dial is marked Bourret a Paris (Noel Bourret, France, 1755-1803) one of the most important Parisian clockmakers of the late 18th century. It rests on a cobalt bue and gilded oval plinth. This is an absolutely stunning antique mantel clock Set by the famous Tiffany Co. antique mantel clock. It is in the style of Louis XVI with Sienna Marble Plinths. The Enamel Dial Marked Tiffany and mechanism maker was E. Deaux, Paris for Tiffany. The Height is 13.5″, Width 9″, Depth 5″ inches. The Candelabra’s are approx. 9 inches. This is a commanding large mahogany Kienzle German timepiece circa 1900 with a beveled glass door and Westminster chimes that sound wonderful. SPECTACULAR OLD FRENCH CLOCK BY THIOUT L'AÎNÉ, PARIS

This is a superb late-1700s-to-very-early 1800s masterpiece by Thiout l’aîné. It is white onyx and gilded bronze with a silk string 8-day mechanism. It features a Putti atop, surrounded by four more below. The gilding on this is a spectacular two-tone, with a bright gilded finish offset by a matte one. This is 18 inches high by 13 inches wide. There is an elegant pendulum that shows through the two pillars of this gorgeous timepiece. Price: Sold.
