This French mantel clock shows a beautiful depiction of a chariot racer with a stag at the reins. It is modelled as Diane the Huntress being pulled by the stag, with the chariot enclosing an enamel dial fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement. NICKELED & gilded Bronze Mantel Clock
A very unique French gilt and silvered bronze mantel clock by Lerolle Freres, Paris, who was one of the better known quality makers of French mantel clocks. The arched velvet dial has a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and blue steel hands, and cast filigree below inscribed ‘Lerolle / FRERES / A Paris’, the twin train striking movement stamped ‘LEROLLE FRES / PARIS’, with Japy Freres works.

This is a lovely early 20th C. vintage clock of the Rococo Revival. It is gilt white metal set with matching candelabras. This vintage clock for sale is in the form of a putti on a footed pedestal decorated with scrolling foliage, beading, and onyx. This lovely old clock has an enameled Arabic numeral dial, and a balance wheel movement. The garnitures are in the form of two-light candelabra with dolphin and grapevine motif. AN ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK BY DENIERE
When it comes to beautiful antique mantel clocks, Deniere ranks near the very top. This is a finely cast French Empire gilt bronze and marble antique mantel clock in the Louis XVI taste, representing a Cupid in a shell chariot sailing in waves with two doves flying forward. This antique mantel clock has an oval beige marble base with cut sides resting on four feet.
It features a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, marked: Deniere Ft de Bronzes and Paris. This lovely old clock is Circa 1820-1840. The Deniere firm was noted for their exceptional bronze casting, exhibiting at the Paris 1855 World Fair and having multiple royal commissions including the coronation coach of Charles X.
