It is of bronze, and possesses the original hands. The dimensions are 9″ x 7 1/2″ x 15 1/2 inches. The Art Nouveau period was from the 1890’s until just prior to the Art Deco period that started about 1920. It featured a combination of the earlier Rococo design, as if it were reinterpreted in a dream state, with all seeming to be melting and flowing with wonderful patterns.
